Sunway Monash Residence
Sunway Monash Residence, or commonly known as SMR, is a student hostel located just next to Monash University Malaysia. Students will have direct access from SMR to the campus as they are connected. At SMR, students will be able to enjoy many premium facilities. The facilities include swimming pool, free gym, communal kitchen and dining area, convenience store, self-serviced laundry, games and movie room.
Types of rooms:
- Twin Rooms RM 780
- Single Rooms RM 1,150
- Single Ensuite Rooms RM 1,650
Pros:
- Located just next to campus
- Cozy dining area and on-site restaurant to eat
Cons:
- Monthly rent is pricey for the size of rooms you get
- Does not allow cooking (except microwave) inside the unit
Nadayu28 Residences
Nadayu is an apartment situated in Bandar Sunway and is about 850m away from campus. Students living in Nadayu will have nearby access to numerous eateries such as Rock Café, 128, Mamak, and so much more. Not only that, living in Nadayu is also something you want to consider if you are emphasizing leisure. Nadayu is surrounded by a couple of entertainment places such as internet cafes, pool and snooker clubs, and playstation rental place. Nadayu offers facilities such as free gym, swimming pool, study area, dining area, convenience store and entertainment room.
Types of rooms:
- Single Rooms Starting around RM 850
- Single Ensuite Rooms Starting around RM 1,100
- One whole unit Starting around RM 3,000
Pros:
- Situated around many eateries and entertainment places
- Spacious and modern unit
Cons:
- 10 minute walk to Monash University Malaysia
- No canopy access from Nadayu to Monash University Malaysia
Sunway Geo Residence
Sunway Geo Residence is an apartment situated in Bandar Sunway and is 1 BRT stop from campus. Students living here will have nearby access to numerous eateries at Sunway Geo Avenue and will have direct access to Jaya Grocer grocery store. Not only that, living in Sunway Geo Residence is also something you want to consider if you are emphasizing simplicity as your apartment will be connected to Sunway Geo Avenue and is very close to campus. Sunway Geo Residence offers facilities such as swimming pool, free gym, tennis court, basketball court, and many more.

- Single Rooms Starting around RM 1,200
- Single Ensuite Rooms Starting around RM 1,500
- One whole unit Starting around RM 2700 up to RM 4,500
- Landlords usually offers one whole unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and up to units with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
Pros:
- Connected to Sunway Geo Avenue
- Just 1 BRT stop away from Monash University Malaysia
Cons:
- Not many entertainments around the apartment
- Does not have adequate pedestrian access from the apartment to Monash University Malaysia
